Windsurf
Windsurf (by Codeium) connects to MCP servers through Cascade. Configuration is global only — there is no per-project MCP file.

Configuration
Section titled “Configuration”Windsurf uses mcpServers with serverUrl (or url) for remote HTTP servers:

Section titled “Enable”- Save
mcp_config.json. - In Cascade, click the hammer (MCP) icon → Refresh.
- Confirm
yetitech-docsappears in the MCP toolbar.

Troubleshooting

| Config ignored | Path must be ~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json, not ~/.windsurf/ |
| Server offline | Click Refresh in the MCP toolbar after saving |
| Too many tools | Disable unused MCP servers to stay under the 100-tool cap |
